Properties of A-PET

A-PET plastic has various characteristics. The different characteristics of A-PET plastic are presented below:

• A-PET is a clear type of plastic;
• A-PET is a very strong material, which makes it ideal for packaging;
• A-PET is shock and tear-resistant. Your products are therefore well-protected;
• A-PET acts as a barrier against gases, UV and water;
• This type of plastic can be used at temperatures between -20°C and +60°C;
• A-PET is available in all colours, in both translucent and opaque versions;
• A-PET is fully recyclable, which makes it a very sustainable form of packaging.

Where do we apply A-PET?

 At Nedupack Thermoforming, we focus on four different sectors: the consumer sector, the industrial sector, the food sector and the pharmaceutical industry. A-PET can be used in almost all these sectors. At Nedupack, we mainly use A-PET in the development of packaging for food, for products that must remain cool, blister packs or technical packaging.

Your customised A-PET packaging

 At Nedupack your A-PET packaging is fully custom-developed. We do this by meeting you to discuss your needs and requirements. Our own design team then develops a 3D model, so that you gain an idea of the packaging. If this is approved, a mould and a prototype are developed in our factory.
